I have found interest in dedicated my work to producing, writing and creating multimedia stories that raise awareness to issues of human rights, social justice, and more. Storytelling has become one of my passions. My samples show this storytelling through audio, photography, writing, video, and graphics.
During my junior year, I held the position as managing editor for the multimedia section with my university’s student news media, the Loquitur. My job was to lead the daily multimedia and social media journalism effort for a staff of 45+. This leadership position really increased my knowledge in leading big groups and also made me realize I wanted to look for internships and jobs that help strengthen my visual talents.
Check out 2 of my articles I was most proud of, “In memory of a lacrosse player, friend, coach, and Cavalier” and “The buckle saved a life: How a college student’s life was changed through one action.”
During the summer of 2019, I obtained an internship with Temple University’s Athletic Department in Philadelphia, PA, where I was one of the graphic design interns and in August I started an internship with Villanova University’s Athletic Department as a graphic design and social media intern. I currently still work at Villanova, creating graphics for the department as a whole.
In addition to being a classroom coach that brought attention to modern slavery and world hunger, I became a mentor to many students, who still reach out for guidance professionally. I am a solo entrepreneur with a specialty in content creating and I’m a self-taught graphic designer.
I’d love to help a company strengthen their platforms while bringing stories alive that best demonstrate the companies abilities to help or provide service to the public. Using my skills and producing work to help the greater good is my overall goal.
