I am dedicated to producing, writing and creating multimedia stories that raise awareness to issues of human rights, social justice, and more. Storytelling has become my passion. My samples show this storytelling through audio, still pictures, writing, video, and graphics.
During my junior year, I held the position as managing editor for the multimedia section with my university’s student news media, the Loquitur. My job was to lead the daily multimedia and social media journalism effort for a staff of 45. This leadership position really increased my knowledge in leading big groups and also made me realize I wanted to look for internships and jobs that help strengthen my visual talents.
Check out 2 of my articles I was most proud of, “In memory of a lacrosse player, friend, coach, and Cavalier” and “The buckle saved a life: How a college student’s life was changed through one action.”
During the summer of 2019, I obtained an internship with Temple University’s Athletic Department in Philadelphia, PA where I was one of the graphic design interns and currently, I am interning with Villanova University’s Athletic Department from the fall to spring as a social media intern.
In addition to being a classroom coach that brings attention to modern slavery and world hunger, I am a solo entrepreneur with a specialty in sports photography and I’m a self-taught graphic designer, interested in creating sports graphics.
