I have strong interest and am dedicated my work, producing, writing and creating multimedia stories that raise awareness to issues of human rights, social justice, and more. Storytelling has become one of my passions and my samples show this storytelling through audio, photography, writing, video, and graphics.
During my junior year in college (2018-2019), I held the position as managing editor for the multimedia section with my university’s student news media, the Loquitur. My job was to lead the daily multimedia and social media journalism effort for a staff of 45+. This leadership position really increased my knowledge in leading large groups and also made me realize I wanted to look for internships and jobs that help strengthen my visual talents.
While being a full-time student, I obtained four internships where I exercised my skills in photography, social media, and graphic design. All my internships taught me how to adjust quickly to any work setting, how to contribute value to a team, exercise the ability to complete time-sensitive projects as well as creating content for a large audience. Being able to cover live events on social media and plan campaigns gave me the ability to plan, conduct, and succeed in projects to the end, in especially the sports industry. I am so blessed to continue working with Villanova University in their Athletic Department, creating graphics and helping with their digital identity.
In addition to being a classroom coach that brought attention to modern slavery and world hunger, I became a mentor to many students, who still reach out for guidance professionally. I am a solo entrepreneur with a specialty in content creating and I’m a self-taught graphic designer.
I’d love to help a company strengthen their platforms while bringing stories alive that best demonstrate the companies’ abilities to help or provide service to the public. Using my skills and producing work to help the greater good is my overall goal.
